2" apart, front valance-9 1/4" wide, hood front-10 1/4" wide, hood rear-10 1/2" wide, roof front-10 1/2" wide, roof rear-10 3/8" wide, trunk front-10 1/8" wide, tronk rear-10" wide, rear valance-10" wide.

This is the width for each stripe and the info was taken from Mustang Unlimited catalogue, page 274.

Ok..the best thing to do is find a "How to paint your Mustang" book published by Mustang Monthly.

However, I'll do my best to describe them.

Shelby Stripes..
on the 1965 and 1966 Shelby's are 9 1/4" on the front valence and leading edge of the hood tapering to 10 1/2" wide at the cowl and leading edge of the roof, then narrowing back to 10 3/8" at the trailing edge of the roof, at the leading edge of the trunk (bottom of backglass) they are 10 1/8" narrowing to 10" across the trunk lid down the rear valence.

The distance between the stripes is a constant 2".

The pictures in the book are priceless...I hope this helps....

If you have any questions just let me know, me and my brother plus a few buddies tapped the stripes off in a weekend and then another sprayed the paint for us...
