Are the top stripes on a 66 GT350 painted on or are they decals?

Here ya go
http://www.treasurecoastmustangs.com/shelby_stripe.htm

Top stripes are painted for '65/'66. Side stripes are all decal in '66 and in '65 only the "GT350" is decal with the stripes painted.

Just a history note -

Only the 1965 GT-350's had the rocker stripes hand painted. From 1966 to 1970, all side stripes were decals.

Also, keep in mind that the dimensions of the rocker stripes on '65s are different than those found on '66-on cars.

What is the difference between the 65 and 66? The article above said
These stripe dimensions were specifically designed for 1965-1966 Shelbys;

The "Lemans stripes" that go over the top of the car (referenced above)are the same for 65 & 66.

The rocker stripes are different.
