Stripped Belt Tensioner

I was working on getting the new belt on that came with the vortech kit, and I think I stripped out (and by think I mean I did) my belt tensioner. Is there any other way to get good leverage on it without the right way, and what is the average price to replace one? How far does the dang belt tensioner go anyways? I must have turned it at least 1/3 of a revolution and the belt still wouldn't go on. Anyone who has done the S-trim kit, what size extension did you use on your breaker bar to make it clear everything without needing to move the bar. Or, if I totally missed something here someone clue me in, I'm hoping I just didn't have the right sized extension and didn't turn the tensioner far enough.

I dont know where to get a new one, but the tensioner can turn all the way clockwise until it stops on its own.

My mechanics tool does not even fit in there. I use a 3/8 ratchet that has a longer handle and the head pivots.. I believe Stanley makes one and can be had at Home depot. It is longer than normal...I think about 12-13" long.

You insert it, then swivel the handle out towards you and you can then manouver it.

OH...btw...MAKE SURE IT IS IN ALL THE WAY and dont let it slip out..once it is slightly stripped, it will strip further even easier.

I've done a lot of looking around and can only find tensioners for -93 mustangs. Can someone point me in the direction of where to get one?
