Stripped starter bolt

The Sears bolt out tools work very well, the ones that have a spiral portion in the socker that will bite into a rounded head. Under $25 for a small set, I know my set has saved me on some customer cars!

If you can weld, weld a bolt or stud onto the stripped bolt, then just use a wrench and double nut it to take it out.

I find those Craftsman tools very handy...

A pair of vise grips and a hammer have worked for me on stripped heads. But I doubt that you will have the space for that.

If you are cheap, you can hammer a smaller socket over the head of the bolt also.

:stupid: The Craftsman stripped bolt removal tools are awesome! They have paid for themselves already. I say go to Sears and buy a set, while you are there you might want to pick up a set of their "Screw-Out" stripped screw removal tools. They are worth their weight in gold.
