I know everyone is gonna say I don't need one and I should spend my money on something else. But i'm stupid like that and I'm willing to spend money on something I don't need. But does anyone know where I can find a chrome strut tower brace for a 2004? I've been looking forever. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I would not say you don't need them. Chassis stiffening is always a good thing. Do not get two point, do not get the kind that f'k up your cc plates every time you remove it.

well its not entirely a waste of money it does stiffin your front end and if you take corners pretty hard you'll notice it's there. Also if you go over any bump.

A strut tower brace is a great complement for subframe connectors as it helps with stiffening up the front of the car. IMO it's definitely not worthless especialy if you are doing any road racing or plan on keeping the car for a long time.

Think about K memeber brace as well. MM carries them as well, and I think they are pretty cheap. (like $90?)

I have one on my car and it definitely makes it feel more rigid up front. My car handles pretty damn well for a mustang, but then again i have alot of suspension crap. I'm gettin some subframe connectors and new bushing with a steeda bumpsteer kit. Then i think my suspension will be done with.

I Definately noticed a difference in how the front end felt with the STB installed, compared to it being naked. I got the steeda one in chrome moly (4130) light weight steel. I personally like the way the black looks in the engine bay, but I was mostly going for function over form anyway. Maybe if your going for the all Chrome look in there it would be worth it to get the (silver) chrome version.
