Hmmm…for me, those younger days are way in the past, but my ‘86 still makes a lot of noise…

Both of mine definitely do not have quiet exhausts and have loud stereos.

Personally I can't stand loud exhausts anymore... Plan on taking the mustang over to a muffler shop and see if they can install some additional mufflers or resonators to help quiet mine down more...

I spent a fair amount of time looking at different muffler brands and types and used the longest WAlker " quiet tones" I could fit under the car.. Dont get me wrong, its sounds really good, but its too noisy for me.. 70 year olds don't need to have " cop caller" exhausts... ( 71 this april).. I would not like jail, but at least I would probably be safe as I am " no longer pretty" ..... LOL

Disagree... You need this and a line-lock for the front tires.

You know... So that the soccer moms know that you're ready to leave.

I had Walker Super-Flo mufflers installed in '90, they aren't noisy and have a nice tone mid range in rpm.

Cheapest over the counter no name cans, I would say mellow in the cabin at about any (legal) speed, been too many years since I've heard the Pyle driving away so...I think it sounds good at idle, if I'm losing HP because of the muffler design I will never know or care..
