so i am doing a RR .in my 90 4cyl and one of my HLAS broke inside the head .what is the best way to get one of these out. any help would be nice thanks.
I've heard of two ways but never tried it myself.
First method is to install a grease or air fitting at the base of the lifter column and pop it out from underneath (wear eye protection!!!)
Second method is to use a screw extractor and penetrating oil to pull it out. If you try this, I'm curious to know what diameter extractor works best.
