Both the cars I posted in previouse threads were mined and I wrecked them a year and 6 days apart because of stupidity. Both where not exactly my fault but I had been drinking both times and it is not cool. I have learned my lesson twice now and I one very wonderful Stang taken from me and I am not going to let it happen again. All I have had in my life since I turned 16 was a Mustang to keep me happy, I am almost 22 and have had 7 mustangs now, two of which I have wrecked because of being stupid. Mustangs are my life and always will be, it has come close twice to almost taking mylife, and I have taken the life of one stang and feel really bad about it. I don't know anybody that lives and breaths mustangs like me, you guess have answered many of my questions in the past (I have had different names) and been very helpful. I just wanted to thank everybody for there help in the past and in the future and to tell everybody to enjoy there stangs for what they are supposed to be, but be smart doing it, I have learned that life can be taken away as fast as a car can be.

Thanks for being there and I hope to be rolling again soon

Im not going to "sugar coat" this and say. "It's ok, that wasnt stupid", because YES It was.. BUT..Kudos to you for coming on here and admitting it, and not just saying "someone wrecked my car"

I turn 40 this year. THe day I turned 16 (in 1980) I got a 72 Tbird, 460 4 barrel. My dad let me go out until Midnight that night to a gameroom/bowling alley.

HE INSTILLED THE FEAR OF GOD IN ME that he would beat my A$$ to a pulp if I screwed up with that car. Since that time, I even "think" that I might get a buzz, I let someone else drive. Even when my wife and I go out to dinner, and I have a martini, (yum yum), She wants to drive.

The good thing about your situation is that it was only an object you wrecked, and not a human being...You would NEVER have regretted it.

GOOD LUCK

Its a hard lesson to learn. Ive only killed one Stang out of the 3 I owned. Luckly it was only a V6 and it was just the motor, the car was later traded in for my current GT. I have crashed my current car once...50% my fault 50% weather. Seems like the more mods I put on it and the faster the car gets the less I mess around w/ it. I just recently took it out of storage from winter for the past 4 months and Ive barely even gotten on it. With time you just learn to respect the car more and more.

The funny thing is, no matter how old you are, you always look back on your mistakes and see how young and stupid you were. The important thing about mistakes is that they teach you and mold you. Let them do that....respect your car(s) but respect yourself and others driving beside you more.

And DOnt  and make fun of people my age when we tell you not to do things for a reason. You'll still to some crazy things, just dont make them "foolish" things!
