I have two dedicated senders,..I'm trying to put two senders in one hole, or feed two gauges with one sender.Or....just run a dedicated sender lol
Two senders on a Tee fitting is ok for pressure, because the pressure will be equal. That's Pascal's law and the reason hydraulic brakes work as well as they do.I have two dedicated senders,..I'm trying to put two senders in one hole, or feed two gauges with one sender.
And to think I got kicked off a forum for using the word "Chinaman". Admin claimed that was offensive. I countered with: what do I call an Englishman, then, or Frenchman, or Irishman? POOF! I was gone! Admin's name was Tang. They're all the same character in horizontal rows.
Pretty sure is says, "**** you, round eye".
That is perfectly clear...it's the schematics, with abbreviations for circuits, and the whole current flow junk that don't make no sense. Two senders on a Tee fitting is ok for pressure, because the pressure will be equal. That's Pascal's law and the reason hydraulic brakes work as well as they do.
Two senders on a Tee fitting isn't going to work well for temperature. There is no way that you can guarantee the each sender will see the same coolant flow past it.
Why? Two reasons:
1.) If the coolant isn't flowing past the sender, you will definitely have some discrepancies; Tee fittings are basically dead ends.
2.) Because temperature, unlike pressure can be different in different places. If you have trouble grasping that, think about how the engine cooling system works...

But, "round-eyes"?? New one on me! imp

You might start at the beginning to get that answer. What are you running with the senders? Gauges...fan controller...
It's a thingamabob/thingamajig thangWhat are you running with the senders? Gauges...fan controller...
I don't think he went back far enough.I read the original post...the stock ecu sensor (ect?) And an aftermarket watertemp gauge? Is the stock one functional? Just trying to see what ports you have available in the lower intake
