I am the proud new owner of a 2004 Black V6 Mustang and Mine didn't come with an owners manual (which by the way I am trying to find one) and since I don't have one just yet I have a question on something in my new car

Is this a coin holder? and yes , this is my first mustang lol

Yes, that is a coin holder or hole filler. If you had a vert, that's is where the retract button would be. Try ebay to find a manual for your Stang. Its where I got mine for my 96 model.

Not too fancy is it?

As long as this is about stupid questions... why is there a lighter but no ash tray? I have the D/C outlet in the console and a lighter in front of the shifter so why no ash tray?

The ash tray is actually a small flip top cup that fits into one of your drink cubbies. The only way you could get it is to get the smoker's package for your ford vehicle. If I remember correctly, that flip top cup was like $15. When I sold Ford vehicles for Skyline Ford, we used to laugh about that price add on.

I got a conv. and I will got, well had the coin holder. It's would been a fog light switch if you had a GT.

It's not a coin holder- it's a lint holder.

Fog light switch on a 04 is in front of the shifter below the radio.
