I'm having a problem with my car stuttering like it struggling for fuel when it hits 1800 or higher RPM's when revving and when it hits 1600 while driving.
I've changed the fuel filter already.
The fuel pump is relatively new so it shouldn't be that.
I've unplugged the MAF and it seemed to respond correctly and I also checked to see if it was clean.
I also tried unplugging the Throttle positioning sensor and the idle control sensor both of which seem to react ast the should. Well the throttle positioning sensor didn't seem to do much but it did change the idle a little bit.
I check fuel pressure while the car was running and that seemed to be fine.
I checked the ground wire to the computer and that was nice and tight.
I put fuel additive in my tank before I filled it to see if there was any possible clogs in my fuel injectors and have yet to try injecting it into the intake.
I'm pretty positive it isn't an Oring for one of the fuel injectors as there is no smell of gas near the intake.
I changed my altenator to see if that was the problem and the problem still continues.
ANy body have any ideas on what else it could be?
My friend said possibly the TFI module(ignition module) and I'm gonna try that next but if any body has any other ideas I'm all ears. Thanks!
