The sub box I had before does not fit in the 95 stang. Right now I'm using a crappy box that I built like 7 years ago when I was 13 in shop lol. Anyone have any decent plans on a simple box that will actually fit in my trunk? I prefer a ported box for the deeper, fuller sound, but I'd be willing to go back to a sealed box if it will save me space.

I've noticed that not many people are building their own boxes (out of 1/2" or 3/4" MDF) for these cars. I'm probably about to find out there's a reason for that lol. Thanks.

To maxamise preformance of your sub, you will need to know your theile- small parameters for your sub, or at least, it's recommended airspace. I'd recommend jumping on the manufacturers web site and seeing what kind of info you can find. It's definately possible, even if you have to build a down firing enclosure.

Oh yeah forgot to mention they're CVR12s, I'd like about 2ft^3 per sub, and like I said I prefer vented, but I forget the spex for sealed (I think its 1-4.5?). I like deep bass, not closer to the mid range, so the more air space the better.

I may mess around with some box design progs - I'm just not sure how to build a box that's sure to fit. Yeah, I could measure the openings of the trunk (or maybe even the entry from inside the car, and determine dimensions like that but it's kind of hard to do when the trunk opening is designed like it is.
