Sub frame connectors on a vert

Anyone install sub frame connectors on a convertible?
If so what do you do about the 10x10 or so plate that is riveted in on and covers the rear subframe and connects to the jacking rail?

i had them welded on my 93 vert and it makes a heck of a difference car is solid now

definitely going to. I was just worried about the reinforcement plates from the factory but according to Maximum Motorsports you leave those on and grind the high points to make sure it sits flush. Have to have them done before I start the turbo project.
