Just took my spoiler off of my 03 gt and am looking for ways to fill the holes. I tried to get some plastic panel plugs, but the holes are way too big.

Any suggestions?

I would also have to agree. If it bugs you that the holes are there(it would bug me) then I would just take it to a professional body shop and have them fill them for you so it will look as if you never had a spoiler.

Swap trunks with a V6er. They will be more than willing to get the spoiler.

I used plastic plugs from Home Depot. I forget the sizes but they have the right ones that pop in and fit flush. A little touch up paint and you would only see 4 small bumps to let you know there were hols there

Just be sure to take your GT badge off the old one before you make the swap.

I agree, do it right, post on the v6 board and offer to swap your trunk and spoiler for a 6er trunk plus have them give you some cash. Only downside, hope they have paint in good shape that will match up to yours. Would suck to have a lazer red car for example and switch on a pinkish faded trunk. You could fill them yourself, maybe bondo or fiberglass. But if you do that and you have it painted, you always run a risk of the filler cracking if you an not skilled in it.

Keep in mind not all 6'ers come stock spoiler-less.

If I went wingless, I would have to get a wingless V6 decklid because the holes would bother me... i think this is the best method IMO....

Your car is white right? I would go to your local Ford auto recycler to see if u can find a nice V6 trunk there, or like the others said, post in the V6 forum about a trade....

Or check out your local forums....

Good luck with the V6 trunk swap. I've had a cobra spoiler in my living room for about 4 months. I posted all over about a swap and no response. I even said it would be a straight up trade and I would do the work. Just show up. But nothing. So good luck on that. I"m going to Home Depot. My money goes toward the go instead of show.
