I just bought an 87 GT last weekend and it looks like there might be a blown head gasket. I almost have the heads off but I need some fuel line disconnector tool which I will buy tommorrow. Anyway some other people have been telling my I should rebuild the engine anyway since it has almost 140,000 miles and it seems to be having some problems. The choices I am considering are:
1. Rebuild or buy a rebuilt 302
2. Fix the problems (hopefully just a blown head gasket)
3. Fix the problems and rebuild later
4. Buy a rebuilt 351w
What do you think I should do???
