Can't say that I have ever seen suicide doors on a classic..

Nice looking car! I'm not sure what the red wire running across the rear of the eng comp is for, and the shocks were not bolted in.

So how long before someone decides to put some gul wing doors on like a mercedes?

I found a kit for 65-66 Mustang....lets hope no one has ever actually ordered one...
THe suicide doors were certainly a first.

Ilive in Redondo Beach, CA and at the beach their is a show night at one of the restraunts and on of the Mustangs (65/66) shows up with one of the Lambo door conversions. don't care for it,

I'm with 65ShelbyClone... it could have been so nice. Look at the driver side shot of the engine... whats blurred out? Guess a fancy paint job can't stop/hide an oil leak!

I can tell you from personal experience, suicide doors on a classic mustang is a pain. The main reason is the rear edge of the door is not 90 deg. So if you put the hinges in the car, they don't run on the same plane so they bind a little more then half way. We worked and moved the hinges on my vert extensively and got them to swing about 3/4 of the way open before it binds, so we stopped and are just going to put a stop there. The only real way to make this work seamless IMO is to just cut the back edge 90, fill in the sheet metal and jam and then do the hinges.
