For stock cars/stock intakes, sure...but a larger throttle body will definitely give you more power on a heads/cam/intake car or a power adder car. Slow5.0's experience definitely is a good example of this.
Ernan was using a ported Cobra intake (can't remember if it was a SN or 93 Cobra style, TW heads, AFM B-31, LTs - so he could use the bigger TB and saw gains.
Did he switch to a TF intake? If so, was it before or after that TB addition?
Other than fattening John Mihovetz's bottom line (it costs the same for us to make a 90MM as it does to make a 65MM TB) and exhibiting poor throttle response, it does nothing. The engine cannot use more air than it can use. The 75MM TB that you have now Carl will probably flow more air than will your intake manifold.

I gained 19hp and 16TQ from just switching from stock 60mm TB to 75mm BBK TB
In that time i was runing 94-95 Cobra intake that was gasket mached ,not fully ported
This year i witch from Cobraintake to TFS Track Heat intake ,but i never redyno again because i broke tranny one week before i supposed to dyno car to see whats going on with TFS Track Heat intake
I may see some less HP due new TKO500 tranny , i will let you know when i redyno again
I have that waterpump and I didn't like it. It is not a stock fit. The pump comes with 2 gaskets and I had to use both of them so the pump would fit. If you use just the one gasket the impellar would make contact with the timing cover which obviously defeats the HV theory. The gaskets did not last and the impellar began making contact with the timing cover. I just happend to notice it. I got rid of it - well I took it off but still have it - and bought an Autozone one because I needed it immediately. I will probably maybe get the Stewart one in the future if this one doesn't do the job.

I didn't really notice the impellar rubbing with just one gasket, but I put both on just to be safe. So far so good. How did you notice it rubbed? I'll keep an eye on mine.
