Can't you have this repaired? Is it leaking?

Anyway sorry to hear this. You were in on the group buy right?

I have compared the Mishimoto side by side to a Fluidyne and the quailty is right there, plus there seems to be too many Fluidyne's leaking on this forum....and they cost 2 times as much!!

Not sure why you had a fitment issue....has your car ever been in a front end collision?

It is leaking. Badly. that is why I took it out. As for getting it repaired I called a couple of places and they over the phone quotes are right up there with buying a stock replacement radiator.

Not sure if the car had been in any kind of substantial front end colission. i want to say no since the factory A/C and radiator were on the car when I got it... I do really attribute the Mishimoto failing due to the poor fit. I am not the only one that complained about the lower right mount being a hard fit.

So in the spring I may go summit and fab up some mounts for little cash.

when you are talking about the lower right hand side fitment are you talking about the aluminum peg at the bottom of either side of the radiator that fits into the two rubber grommets? I'm just trying to figure out why it was a poor fit or what made it difficult to sit right.

Exactly right. My peg was pushing the radiator forward into the radiator support of the car. It was really hard getting the radiator all the way seated into this for that reason.

Yeah I don't know why it would be that tight of a fit unless your frame or rad support was slightly bent. I couldn't drop my rad straight in either. I had to take out my battery and battery holder to get better access. After that I made sure both sides were relatively level and pushed down on each side at the same time. They popped right in and sat flush.

Exactly, Sounds like something on his car wasn't quite right.

I have a summit universal on my car. i took the extra steps to have tabs welded on the end tanks in order to mount the fan shroud to. I have nothing bad to say about it at all. Even with my dart block the car remains nice and cool, even on those 90* days. I've read a lot of bad things about the mishimoto rad, and I have yet to hear anything bad about the summit other than it requires a little effort to fit it.
