Just picked up my new '87 LX, and it has some bad sun damage. Most of the interior panels are in good shape, but alot of them are discolored, and clash against the ones that are not. Is there any way to restore the original color without having to dye/paint everything?

I seriously doubt it. You could try some of those cleaners or "back to black" products, but chances are its only temporary.

Check out my interior restoration thread below. I dyed/painted my interior panels and they came out great.

Yeah, I've been following your thread and it looks great! I was just trying to see if anyone had a cheap/quick solution without tearing all the interior out. I'll probably dye/paint everything, my dash pad has a big rip in it, so I know I have to pull the dash out anyway to replace that. Might as well put in a new heater core while I'm at it! Thanks though!

tca..shouldn't have to pull the dash to replace just the pad. It can be done without pulling the dash.

Now if you want to replace that heater core...then you'll be just shy of pulling the dash.
