Lot's of guys have 40 series Flowmasters on their mustang. It seems to be the muffler of choice for the 5.0 crowd, lol. Expect loud!

I think the Super 40's are what they are now calling the original style (non-Delta Flow) painted black.

The Super 40s are Flowmaster's new 2 Chamber Muffler that uses Delta Flow internals (for reduced drone) and a larger case design than the old 40 series. They are also painted black...they are popular and we move quite a bit.

if you have stock mufflers now, 40 series flowmasters will definately make it louder, but not really loud. A lot of people gripe about the 2000 rpm drone, but I don't think it's THAT big of a deal. If you don't want to hear it as much in the car, they have other series with lower interior noise. Check the flowmaster website for those. You can check some different combo's at www.mustangexhaust.com if you want, but you have to register first...no biggie - it's free.
