Super Charger Help?

I have a 1994 GT with a Vortech SC running ~10lbs. of boost and am having some blow-by (I thinks thats what they call it). There seems to be oil misting out of the dip-stick area, not much, but enough to make me mad. The only fix that I have been able to do was to cap it off and hope for the best. I know there are a lot of people running more boost than me without this problem, I just don't know how. I have herd of using a Super Coupe PCV valve, but I don't know if that would fix it. Could it really be that simple? I plan on running a breather that screws onto te oil fill area in hopes that this might help as well. Just looking for

You're on the right track. Some people have used the super coupe PCV valves (because they are designed to put up with boost) and a custom type of grommet. In addition to that people have taken the opportunity to add filter type elements and adding them in to catch the oil that would otherwise end up in their upper intake.

You could also add a breather(s) to your valve covers.

IIRC, a lot of the blow by comes from rings that aren't sealed terribly well and the boost goes past and into the crankcase, and that pressure has to go somewhere.

I'm going to try the breather as well as the Super Coupe PCV valve. The engine was built 10,000 miles ago. 306 with Forged Probe pistons and Metco rings. I just hope this doesn't mean another rebuild!!! Also has Edelbrock Performer heads, mild cam, and a cobra intake. Car dynoed at 441HP and 430TRQ (SAE corrected)
