Super fast turn signals in a 1968 coupe

I mean SUPER FAST - maybe three or four cycles per second when you indicate Left or Right. Similar to what a new car does when a bulb is out, except I don't have any bulbs that are out.

I am not good with electrics . . . has anyone else ever had this problem and if so, how
did you fix it?

Just got my car back from my parents' house, so I am sure all sorts of dumb questions are forthcoming.

Yes, I realize I stuck this in the wrong forum like a dope.

Perhaps an admin can move it - couldn't delete.
