So a whlie back i bought some Nokya yellow fog light bulbs to go with my 6000K HIDs. I loved them but sadly they just were noy yellow enough. So i had 2 choices to get my Fogs Yellow

1. Yellow JDM Spray Tint
2. Lamin-x Yellow Covers

I choose the lamin-x after buying the JDM spray and not being able to read the ***. instuctions. So now they are REALLY yellow. The yellow Bulbs combined with the yellow lamin-x looks hot. And during the day the fogs almost match the Amber corners.

Straight up sexy looking mod IMO

Parts Used

Lamin-x Bulk Sheet 7x8 in Fog Yellow

If i ever feel like getting different fogs i will just use Lamin-x on those. I ordered enough to do 4 sets of light

1 set for the lights
1 set in case i mess up the first set
1 set in case something happens
1 set in case i get different fogs/ a buddy might want a set

That's what mine look like now, with all the water in them.

You should double up the yellow, and make them even brighter. That would look sweet.

I think I like that...I mean, it's almost impossible to match our HIDs with just bulbs, so why not go yellow?

yeah ive got the nokya 7000k bulbs and they are ALMOST teh color of the silverstar headlights which i replaced with 6000k HID's... i thought about getting the yellow bulbs just to make it easier to see during fog...

id have to see it in person to say if it was ok

Looks like someone peed on your fog lights. I dont like it at all. Clear would be better as the other guy said.

But clear would make matching the 6000k HIDs nearly impossible. Think from our point of view. Yea, if he had like silverstars or somet crap, any clear fog would match. Not the case with HIDs.

Clear would have been MUCH better, IMO. Even if they didn't match your HIDs.

IMO clear lights look wrong on SN-95s. I dont know what it is but they just looks off, they look better on New Edge stangs.

I find that yellow lights on ANTHING make it look old. Clear always seems like the clearer choice. But otherwise, your car is really nice and clean.

I think it looks good man. the look of yellow fogs is really growing on me. After hours and hours of searching and NOT FINDING any kind of regular bulb to match my 8000k HIDs, i decided to buy yellow bulbs.

I've also been debating slapping on the yellow lamin-x tint on top of the bulbs, but i want more of a lexus is300 neon yellow rather than an orange/amber-ish yellow. Do you think the yellow lamin-x will get me a bright enough yellow?

this is how mine came out with clear fog housings.

I like the yellow, its actually functional. When the roads are wet the white lights don't reflect and illuminate as well as the yellow fogs in my Lexus do. I've been thinking of running 2300k yellow HID's in my fogs.

They sell HID kits for fog lamps..

I think what you did is a total ricer mod, but that is subjective.

If it were me, and I wanted yellow fog lights, I would go ahead and shell out the money for a 3000k hid fog light kit. That will give you the lexus look for sure.
