It is still pretty far off but I am looking for opinions on colors for the car. Keep it traditional Shelby white and blue but with deeper colors, or the Ford Gt's Tungsten Grey with Silver Stripes. I am kind of leaning towards silver now for a sharp look. Here are some pictures:

I personally like the Acapulco blue (or something deeper) with white stripes.

Killer project!
Like the white/blue best. Tungsten is too modern for me to really work on a classic.

Who's shop have you got this at? That is some first rate looking work. I'm not criticizing but just curious. Why the mod motor and not, say a 427 Windsor with a Paxton? It would fit better make about the same power.

I went with a blue pearl base under the white, Love the look but photos cant' pick up on the color

Thanks for all of the compliments. The car is not at a shop but at a good friends house. I couldn't have done all of this mechanical work without him. He is a helicopter mechanic by day and does this in his spare time. This is the second car we have have done together and his attention to detail is amazing.

As far as why I chose the direction I did, I wanted to have this car showcase what I thought were the best details of all the generations of Mustangs. I love the 67 Styling, the IRS from the 2003-2004 Cobras is fantastic, the Mustang II IFS is tried and proven, the Eleanor styling from Chip Foose is really modern and sharp, and the new GT500 modular motor is the most powerful production Mustang engine ever. So, all in all, this is to be loosely titled the "Generations" Mustang.

Shaun, I'm using the same setup but I cannot find ready-made exhaust for IRS in classic stang. do you have any ideas? or is it going to be a custom work?

I am using a side exit exhaust from Dr. Gas. I think that the expert in running exhaust with a Cobra IRS would be Pete Waydo from Reen Machine. If you look at his site he has done this with at least two cars.

I've been looking at the DVS kit for my car. Did you do the 2" drop, or are you planning to?

I didn't do the dropped cradle because of all of the extra work and I am actually quite pleased with how the suspension sits in the car now.

I haven't added anything to this thread in a long time. I have been mainly posting on the Eleanor Forum. Here is what we have so far. Let me know if you guys want me to keep posting here.
