OK I am about ready for some serious power boosters. I have always wanted to supercharge my mustang but i have heard horror stories about people doing it to 98 GTs. Problems with numerous parts just blowing out right after installation. any comments? also, what supercharger would I go with?

not to be a douchebag, but you could just google this.. you could just get a vortech, procharger, paxton, kenne bell kit.. etc and just put that on and run about 8psi of boost for an everyday driver. If the kit is a "tuner" kit you would need injectors, fuel pump, and a MAF sensor and then a dyno tune to make sure it's safe.

Get a reputable tuner and keep the boost on sane levels and you will be ok. If you prefer an instant hit of torque go with a KB, if you are looking more for a top end pull go with a "centrifical". Vortec, procharger, paxton......

As long as the engine is in good condition and you get it tuned properly then it will be fine.

Get a standard vortech kit and run it at around 8psi. It will be a nice kick in the pants. Probably make around 300rwhp on your car.

Yeah I would assume a "cheap" vortech with standard boost to pick up around 80-100 horsepower on a near stock GT. They have some nice kits

I did a kenne bell with the 9psi intercooled kit and drag radials should have been included with it. The difference is amazing.
