You could pretty much use any 87-93 setup on the car. If you're running a carb on the 289, you'll need to pick up a carb hat for it, but otherwise, the choice is yours.

I have a carbureted 302 in mine and was wondering kind of the same. Most supercharger kits i've seen for foxes seem to be made for EFI cars though. Can anyone point us in the right direction. Thanks.

even if they say they are for EFI cars, the supercharger will still work with carb?

The head unit itself will work with a carb, but you'll need to sort out the fuel system separately. You'll definitely need a carb hat for sure, but as far as the fuel system goes, I really don't have the experience to point you in the right direction. I'm not sure how you'd need to jet the carb, and what sort of fuel pump you should be looking into, to support the additional fuel requirements.
