supercharger ?

I have a 95 cobra that has a vortech S-Trim, I noticed recentely that it has been leaking a small amount of oil and that it has started to make a thumping/thudding sound at idle. I have no idea what the cause could be but I know that its coming from the charger, before I call Vortech does anybody have any idea what it could be Thanks.

have you taken the belt off and seen if there is any play in the SC?
that might be the first thing they ask you.

If it is the Vortech...not really much you yourself can do...I serviced mine a couple or years ago for about $500. They changed the bearings and did some other stuff...Turn it free hand and see what happens...noises etc.
