Hey Guys... I'm new here and I wanted to say hello to all! I have a 2003 Mustang GT and I'm gonna supercharge it within the next 2 months or so. The car is basically stock except for an off road h-pipe with borla exhaust, k&n airfilter, and steeda tri-ax shifter. What kind of superchargers do you guys suggest? I was thinking about getting a procharger. When I get my supercharger what else do you suggest I get? Should I get sub frame connectors, upper and lower control arms? If I didn't get them would my car be messed up? What do you guys suggest I get in my car?

One of the main reasons I want to get my supercharger is to make sure I can beat all those little 4 bangers like the STi... I hate those cars! I've never met up with one but I know at the line they beat me if they know how to drive.

Thanks for reading my post and let me know what you guys think I should get on my car to make it fast!

If you like your car to scream on top end , get a vortech , paxton or procharger , if you like low end torque , get a kenne bell

Kenne Bells are sure nice on a street car they provide a fun street power curve. A guy on here is with T&J Performance and sells what people on here refer to as the "Cobra Killer" kit. They have all had great results and he seems to give great sevice after the sale. Its also a nice price for a very complete kit with many extras.

Kenne Bell lists the kits for the 4.6 at $3800 for non intercooled and $4900 for intercooled.

T@J Lists his at $3950 for his vortech kit you get a whole lot of things like with is also.

You can find the two here

turbo or Paxton Novi 2000. my Vortech is not bad, but the Paxton Novi 2000 is bigger so it makes more power.

If you're going to be going fast, you have to be able to stop fast... look into some after-market brakes.

If you love low end torque and power go with the Kenne Bell 2V Kit.

So getting a procharger with an aftercooler isn't worth it as say a kenne bell?

It's all about what your looking for. the Kenne Bell will give you full boost and power throughout the power band. A centrifugal i.e. procharger, vortech will give only a little boost down low, but hit hard up top. Alot of people say that the cetrif. blowers are better at the track, while a positive displacement type like a Kenne Bell or an Eaton are better on the street. I personally disagree with this because I believe it is more the driver then the blower. Do your reseach, and make your choice on what suits you best.

Oh christ yes, lol.. My brakes sucked before the blower and are even worse now. I'd have to say my favorite mod thus far though after the blower are the subframe connectors. I have trouble breaking the street tires loose now in 50 degree weather. I didnt realize it'd help traction that much but it did.
