anyone know where i can download instructions on installing a superchip. i know it's not that complicated but i want to make sure it's done right. i tried the superchips site, but they only offer instructions for the programmer.

I got the programmer, and when i plug it in i have to make sure to remove the fuel pump fuse....don't know if youd have to do the same but that's what i gotta do...just plug it in to the diagnostic connector....did you have it tuned to what ou alredy have in your car?

unplug the battery, find the ECU in the drivers side kick panel, remove the black plastic piece covering the port, (this part is VERY IMPORTANT!!!) with the supplied sponge type thing, remove ALL of the plastic goo on the connectors. you may want to carefully use something more abrasive. once you are 100% sure the little metal connectors are clear of the plastic, plug in the chip. place a piece of packing or duct tape over the chip, securing it to the ECU. put the ECU back where you found it, and you are done. well, after you plug the battery back in.

How much horsepower did you gain with the programmer? I cannot decide between the chip or programmer
