I allready have a wideband and a custom dyno chip that i had burnt for me. However, i would like to be able to play around with my tune to fine tune stuff like idle, crusing, etc. Can i buy the software and the "flasher" that the dyno shop uses? If so, how do i go about doing that?

Thanks guys - yep we can sell you the Pro Racer package. If you already have an SCT chip, it'll be even cheaper. It includes the software, a database for your processor and a chip burner. You get a base tune with that to get you going. We also sell a Pro Racer Training video that really helps to teach you how to use the software and basic tuning concepts. One entire chapter is tuning EEC IVs.

Email me at don@lasotaracing.com for details.

I know I'm not Don

BUT

I have so much respect for him with how he comes on here and shares his knowledge with all of us ... I feel I gotta to say a word or two here.

We all know he is in the biz of tuning Stangs.

When he is asked a Q along these lines, he is kinda sorta being put in a position where someone might think of him as being a Spammer if he answeres these kinds of Q's.

I have not seen Don do that kind of thing here or on any other site as well.

Again, the fact he does not do that says a great deal about how he conducts himself and proves he is a quality kinda guy.

He has provided a way for all to get in touch with him to do business if one wants to persure those avenues.

IMHO ... asking Don a technical Q poses no issues

but

we CAN put him between a rock and a hard place if we are not careful about Q's that relate to or even come close to relating about his biz.

Don or any other person who is in in the hot rod biz has to be careful and kinda walk a fine line as to how they are perceived by these various sites if they choose to participate in the threads.

Just a thought or two I somehow felt needed to be pointed out.

If I've spoken outta turn, somehow offended, or upset Don or pleasehelp by my comments ........ It was not my intention

Thanks!!!

I agree.... fine line, and he's doing a fine job walking it thus far. I see him being "setup" every so often, I may be guilty of it a time or two actually. Very impressed with how he has not gone the easy route. I've never met the guy, never talked to him except in threads on here. I'm VERY interested in taking my car all the way to Ohio just to get it tuned when I figure out my engine plans.
