If your actualy going to get a tuner, I would say go witht the SuperChips Tuner IMO, they have the best product, even better than the Diablo that isn't even out yet (supposed to be out like 4 years ago)

Well, I have talked to people on this forum who have seen it "in action" on a cobra and they said it didn't really do diddly crap. You'll also see the "IMO" and just in case you didn't know, that means in my OPINION. So keep the flames in your pants noob.

By the way, they keep saying it's going to be out. They have been stating that for I think the better part of a 6 - 8 months. Maybe even longer.

superchips custom tuning software would be better than all the previously mentioned items, albeit more expensive. http://www.modulardepot.com/product_info.php?products_id=82

or the complete package for wild combo's such as forced induction.

no flame. you stated your opinion and i was simply stating mine. the maxmicro tuner only tunes for wot. the predator tunes throughout the rpm band.

noob? wow, you really have alot of posts. i just dont post on this board much, i have upwards of 1.6k on other mustang forums. but thanks for your concern.

As far as the best place to get the max microtuner i don't know the be honest o bought mine a local speed shop that is a superchips dealer. Got it for 400$. At the time i did'nt have a choice because hypertech did'nt make one for my car . But i am happy with it for sure. Very easy to use! Fixed my speedo , and i have it set on the performance setting. have to run 93 octane but thats ok. good luck

I apologize, I though you were flaming me by saying "it's NOT better". You might want to take the 1.6k posts and do some research. You say that Superchips tuner is only for WOT. Well, this is directly from their homepage. Since you obviously don't do much research I did it for you junior.

"Founded in England in 1983, Superchips, Inc. was one of the first companies specializing in the “tuning” of computer-controlled vehicles for more power. Vehicles programmed by Superchips have gone on to win in a variety of racing series throughout the World.
Since beginning our U.S. operations in 1992, we've continued to excel in racing, along with providing more power for street driven vehicles. Our current performance tuning comes from years of experience in tuning computer-controlled cars, trucks and SUVs, unleashing the power potential hidden under your hood...to deliver MORE POWER FOR TOW & GO!

• Tuned every 200 rpm
• Dyno tested and street proven
• Application specific tuned products

What does this all mean?

When we program a Superchips MAX MicroTuner, Vin specific Micro Tuner, eprom or Ford Superchip for your vehicle, we don't just make a few universal changes at full throttle, our engineers make modifications throughout the entire power band, from part throttle through wide open throttle. These changes are made specific to your particular vehicle's original factory computer program.

By tuning every 200 RPM, you get more power for everyday driving with increased power in the lower RPM range where you need it. As shown below on the dyno graph, the torque gain at peak is nice, but the increased torque we found at the lower rpm range is outstanding and it's right where you really feel it on the street in everyday driving!

On the top end, notice that while the horsepower starts falling off just past 4,000 RPM, the Superchips program holds a higher level all the way to redline.

This means more torque on the bottom end to get you moving and more horsepower on the top end to keep the motor pulling strong all the way to redline.
