Hey guys I my car is surging and stalling and theres a gas smell. I have changed the iac, egr, and tested the tps and have it set to .96 volts and still have the problem. I was just wondering if you guys could lead me in the right direction to get my car running right again.

You need to tell us more information about your setup- heads, cam. intake, etc. It could be anything from a dirty MAF to a vacuum leak to a bad FPR.

You guys with idle problems could save a lot of time chasing your tails if you would go through the Surging Idle Checklist. Over 50 different people contributed information to it. The first two posts have all the fixes, and steps through the how to find and fix you idle problems without spending a lot of time and money. I continue to update it as more people post fixes or ask questions. You can post questions to that sticky and have your name and idle problem recognized. The guys with original problems and fixes get their posts added to the main fix. :

It's free, I don't get anything for the use of it except knowing I helped a fellow Mustang enthusiast with his car. At last check, it had more than 125,000 hits, which indicates it does help fix idle problems quickly and inexpensively.

What year car, what transmission?
Is all the original emissions equipment in place and functional?
Did you get a code 11 when you dumped the codes? What other codes did you get?
Have you done cylinder balance test?
Have you done a full tuneup? That means new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter?
Are you using anything other than the stock airbox and the flat panel filter?
Have you checked and replaced all the vacuum lines? That includes the brake booster grommet and PCV grommet.
