took it to the ford place and they were really no help. said a 92 is to old for them to work on. they dont have the tools. so i am pretty much on my own trying to figure this out

lol no *****.. how do you think i felt. she said they dont have the obd1 or tools for something that old. its a 92 not a 68... so i am just throwing money at the problem. im good when it comes to building a motor, not the issues like these..so i am going through all that i can to figure it out..
fixing to replace the cool sensor and therm, new o2's and trans flsuh and filter tonight.. hoping to be able to clear it up..basically car drove great came out next day and woudl crank and cut off. so fixed idle air and maf,tps, now it runs better when maf unhooked. if i hook it back up it will die. so not really sure whats up with that..
jonbacon, do you have a Ford service manual, wiring diagrams and PCM manual for your car? If you are interested in having a copy for yourself, I maybe able to help. PM if interested.
Considering the age of the car, a factory service manaul could come in real handy.
YEAH IVE GOT ALL THAT. WAS TOLD TODAY IT COULD BE COOLANT TEMP SENSOR.. SINCE IT CONTRIOLS JUST ABOUT ERVY SENSOR.. IM NOT ALL THAT GREAT AT VOILTS AND AMPS.. I CAN BUILD A MOTOR AND FABRICATE OR BODY WORK. JUST NOT THAT GOOD AT TROUBLE SHOOTING ISSUES LIKE THESE. SO IM DOING THE LETS SPEND MONEY GAME AND SEE WHATS BROKE.....SO IVE REPLACED,,PLUGS,IDLE AIR,MAF TPS..NO VAC LEAKS..
AND NEW COOLANT SENS AND THERM TONIGHT
