I replaced the clutch in one my stangs(the 331 s/c). After hours of hard work(you guys know how it is) I got in the car the next morning and started it up for the first time. I went to back and out and was thinking this feels way to soft and the clutch is to easy to push in. I put in a Super King Cobra clutch, cause it works best with the stock tranny and the amount of horsepower.(The last King Cobra clutch only lasted 10,000 miles) I also put in a Ford Racing Quadrant that is adjustable, this had to have an affect on why the clutch is smooth. It's a whole lot lighter than my other 5.0 and Cobra(01). I want to say its softer than the new 05 and up mustangs clutch. But it takes alittle bit more effort than an import of some sort. I love the feel cause its different. Do any of you guys have a similar setup with similar results?

I put a Zoom clutch in my Capri and it clamps like a vise and is light as a feather to push in. Absolutely LOVE it. I also installed a BBK quadrant and cable too... for smooooothness. LOL.

Man I love it! All though I would drive it if it was as stiff as all get out.

It used to have a King Cobra. Its now in three pieces and burnt. But its called the Super King Cobra and grabs!!! But it feels much softer for some reason!
