Suspension Nerds...........

Just an update......

it's a new unit and I'm not too worried about the mounting point, as I can strengthen that. Here's a better link that describes the product more fully.... http://www.mustanggiant.com/052769600058.html

I'm concerned because I have H&R Supersport springs and MM lower control arms. It sounds to me like they prefer stock springs and that the product lowers the LCAs, which concerns me because I don't know if that will hinder the performance of the MM LCAs. Any new thoughts??

didnt KB go out of business?

anyhow, MM. why strengthen a weak point when you can buy a frame mounted kit for a hair more. just doesn't make sense. i really just dont care for KB at all for suspension, they just dont seem to be quality engineering. to me they seem to toss more steel at it and hop it makes it strong. shrug, do what you want.... just realize that so far everyone in this thread has a MM PHB... yewt nobody has a KB one...

KBrown was ill and his children didn't want to take up the business. I don't believe they're "closed" but rather more in limbo.

More like everyone was too worried about him to keep it open lol. He's getting better, and supposedly the gasoline alley store may open up again, if not maybe at a new location. Oh yeah, and they certainly are closed for all intensive purposes. The store had its inventory sold off, even Kermie, Kenny's personal track car was sold!
