I really want to purchase a full suspension package to make my car drive as tight and solid as possible, what is a really good full suspension package that wont break the bank too much but still give me an outstanding ride. Also lowering springs were something I really wanted to get but reading some threads lately about peoples cars being way to low is kind of have me thinking differently about lowering my car, I just want a super solid suspension that will corning almost anything and handle bumps and rough roads a lot smoother while also making my car feel tighter and stiffer I guess you could say without breaking the bank too much.

tight and solid; not too expensive; outstanding ride...pick one.

Seriously, those "wants" are all pretty much opposed to each other. For a "tight and solid" package check out Maximum Motorsports. I don't really know about not too expensive, other than shopping around and getting things a little bit at a time...and I wish I could suggest something for "outstanding ride".

Maximum Motorsports makes great suspension components. Their website also has tons of info on picking parts for your ride. Very good resource.

Thinkn off the top of my head i'd say UPR ( not the top dawg but kinda in the middle n dissent $ ), Raceland ( They are new i think a couple years.. my buddy picked up this kit in for what it is nice! ) makes a coil over kit for the 99-04 stangs and they sell additionally as a kit deal if you want their adjustable camber casters out the door i wanna say $470-$620 tops.., or you could pick up a set of non-adjustable koni str's/basic upper/lower control arms kit for $140ish online n this should be before the rest i listed Subframe Connectors FULL Length WELD IN ONLY!! ( Bolt on's cannot touch weld on's on their best day lol ) and with the weld on sfc's/rear lca kit/koni str's you'd be around $550ish area.. oh, I dunno if you already have a set of aftermarket camber caster plates on your car but if you don't def ge a pair and the best one's are maximum motorsport! the only other ones id use would be either steeda's or j&m's. Hope that will help you and give some ideas n different ways togo!

Oh, and i was going to tell the best place's to go for Stang parts or Stang anything for tht matter lol is Americanmuscle.com and Latemodelrestoration.com . I have used both for awhile now and never had one issue with parts, customer service, and they hook their customers up n take care of em. Another good thing is if you have a question about for example you bought a pair a shocks and you got to a certain point and where like ahh wth?? lol you could call em up and they would get you to a tech in their shop and he would talk to you and do whatever he/she could to help you out and make u ( the customer ) happy!.. That's why i have stuck with them.. Good Service, Really Good $'s, and most of all They Actually Take Care Of Their Customers!!

Edit: I am bout to go to bed lol long ass week n weekend!.. I forgot to mention the first time round that i dunno if you are cool with this but it is the best way IF U are PATIENT haha. So here it is i know you said that you don't wanna get too crazy with $. With that being said you could with however much money you have now that you wanna put into a " Suspension Kit " buy the BEST part or two a time and piece your suspension together vs trying to find the best deals and get stuff that's junk an really not gonna give you the performance, top notch quality/best of the best craftsmanship/reliability and not gonna have you 6 mths-year later screwed cuz it broke, didn't do on the drag strip or autocross and you are out $500-$700 bucks for crap when you can put that towards good that will last and you don't have any worries cuz you know you did it rite the 1st time!

If you have any question's bro feel free to shoot me a PM and i will help with what i know. I have been dealing with 99-04 2v 4.6 Mustangs, 93-97 5.7 LT1 Camaros/Trans am"s , and 98-02 5.7 LS1 Camaro/Trans am, and the last GM product i owned was a 05 Maroon low mile Pontiac GTO that caught fire in my works parking lot lol.. if i know nothing else, i do know a good amount about those cars n their motors/common issues associated with them lol. Cheers man

Thank you so much for your help man I really appreciate the detailed responses and the time you took to answer my questions this has helped a lot seriously. I was thinking about going for something like this 1999-04 GT convertible Sport Box but I still need to do a little research what do you think?

@ NightFire, I have been meaning to ask did you start out using Team Z stuff as soon as you picked up your very first 94-04 2v 4.6 or had you used other another brand like maximum, upr, etc.. and weren't happy and landed on Team Z? What about Team Z do you like over the usual players?.. I literally have heard maybe 2-3 people every mention Team Z and don't even remember if it was good feedback or what lol.

Cheers!

I used nothing but MM (Maximum Motorsports) at the beginning and their stuff it top-notch. Over the years I've been hearing more and more about Team Z. After doing some research, I concluded that Team Z was a serious player in the Mustang community when it comes to suspension.
