I have had my car for several months and I have started to notice the suspension is really annoying. I can feel every bump in the road. There's nothing wrong with the car I just wanted to know what others thought. I want to lower the car but I've read that lowering makes the ride rougher. So I'm hesitant in that area. I previously had a jeep wrangler and you really feel every bump in the road with that car. I guess I expect too much from my stang:Word: My question will lowering the car with eibachs hinder ride quality and do I need to replace struts? I've read(mustang monthly) that steeda springs are good with stock struts.

I lowered mine with the Eibach Sportline's the ride could be bumby at times. I invested in a set of Tokico D-Spec 16 way adjustable shocks and struts and that makes a big difference in ride quality after you get them adjusted right. Although they are a bit high in price.

Lowering the car will hurt the ride, but not as bad as you'd likely expect. Like someone else said you'll want to invest into adjustable shocks and struts if you are concerned about the the ride. If you add low profile tires you'll lose more ride quality as well. Just some things to think about to plan mods out. Sounds silly but maybe try to adjust your tire pressure for now to find a little softer ride. If they are on the high end of pressure it can be a noticable difference.

Suspension Bumpy

Are you running tire pressures higher than those recomended? I have the 18" wheels and run the factory spec 32 PSI and have no ride quality complaints.
