Suspension Work

I'm not really sure what manufacturing springs round OE ride quality means. I also prefer a progressive rate spring like the Roush that gets harder as it compresses.

Depending on the drop, an adjustable Panhard Rod may not be necessary. I dropped mine on Roush springs and I didn't need one.

Same goes for camber bolts but they don't cost much anyway. The drop on mine had little or negligible effect on alignment and my tires are wearing just fine. Plenty of other lowered cars have had the same result. It's only on major drops that you tend to have issues.

If you're going to have relocation brackets, weld-on ones are better than bolt-ons but they're not essential.

I re-used my upper strut mounts. I never had a popping before and I certainly don't now. I'm not saying you won't but there's the choice.... It looks like all they're giving you is a new Ford set of plastic tops anyway which are probably available over the counter.

For my money, I'd buy a set of good shocks like Tokico D-Specs (about $550 and buy the springs separately. I have no problems at all with the Roush springs in terms of handling or ride comfort.

So yes, good price, but ask yourself if you need the things they're selling you.

I use all the BMR rear suspension pieces and feel their quality is quite good for the price. Go to BMR's website and buy only what you need and not some prepackage deal.

Ford Racing and Roush's complete packages are a no brainer. They are both really tuned well and mostly noise and head-ache free if installed by a professional.

Worth every penny.

(yes I know I don't have that on my car but I was going for a much more aggressive ride)

Not worth just getting springs as the stock pogo sticks are just shown up even more. Besides, if you replace the front springs, you have to take the strut apart so why make it hard on yourself by having to do it twice. Get the D-Specs and then use a good spring like Roush, Eibach or Steeda then go from there. A good set of lower control arms will be a wrothwhile addition as will the BMR lower A-arm brace to stop deflection of the lower A-arms.

By all means buy an FRPP package and go the whole hog but if you're never going anywhere near a track or a decent corner, it could be overkil but it may save on piecemeal shipping costs.

I have everything in that prepackage deal on my car, plus I added LCA's and Tokico D Specs. I went with the aggressive springs from BMR 2" drop all around. The quality is excellent, I can not complain. I posted a few pics in this forum under the topic lowering springs and fanblades, it should be a couple of posts away from this one.

I have the Steeda Sport springs and Tokico D-specs and the combination transformed the car. The springs make a 1" front and 1.25" rear drop, the car looks good and handles much better than stock.

I also have the GT front sway bar and H&R rear. Car works good, nothing drastic and the shocks/struts are adjustable for your various uses.
