yeah your probably going to get flamed for mentioning drifting. I'm not saying a mustang cant drift, in fact american cars seem to be taking over the drifting scene. Its just that many people see drifting as a dangerous and pointless way to kill your car/yourself. If you really want to drift I would recommend first getting a cage put in your car, then worry about the suspension. your going to have to really stiffen up your chassis, then your probably going to want to go with coilovers, upper and lower control arms, and an adjust able rear sway bar, so you can tune the car to oversteer. your also probably going to want to enroll yourself in a high performance driving/racing school, so you can learn the dynamics of how a car handles. drifting is a very expensive hobby, and I would also recommend starting out doing something like auto-x, just to get some experience with your car. its a lot cheaper, safer and your actually going for time rather then style points
