This weekend the SVTOA chapters from Seattle and the Tri-Cities, as well as a couple of local guys from NLOC, got together at Ocean Shores. Eight Cobras, two Lightnings, one SVT Focus and two Fox-body Saleen cars made the trip. Ocean Shores was holding chainsaw carving and sand castle building contests and the place was packed. Weather was decent, but windy. Hey, it's the coast. The Ramada Inn went out of their way to accomodate us, marking most of their parking lot for our use and supplying a room for us to hang out and watch videos and chat. Our group ran into one of the guys from SVTPerformance.com at the Rusty Tractor in Elma on the way out. I guess a batch of Cobras and a Saleen stopping there for lunch isn't an everyday occurance. The Tri-Cities folks are a blast and hopefully will join us on another event later this summer. Thanks to their group for setting this up.
