Hey Everybody,

Just wanted to drop a quick note about the CARSTAR Super'Stang. I have left a few posts about this cherry rebuilt '67 that is modeled after the SuperSnake. It is touring the country to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

If you haven't seen it, it is pretty cool and it will be at the Mid-America Boat Show in KC Feb. 21 -24.

More Info:
The CARSTAR Super’Stang will join more than 400 boats, a sea lion comedy show and an 86-foot houseboat at the seven acre Mid-America Boat Show.
“This is a great event for us,” acknowledged Jeff Bontrager, business development manager for the MoKan CARSTAR Business Group. “It is a lot of fun for Kansas City and we’re happy to have Make-A-Wish Foundation representatives at the event helping us raise money.”
The CARSTAR Super’Stang, a beautifully rebuilt 1967 Mustang created by CARSTAR and the country’s leading restorer of Shelby Mustangs, Jeff Yergovich, is the centerpiece of a nationwide, 18-month fundraising tour to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Super’Stang will be on display in the northeast corner of the Mid-America Boat Show at Bartle Hall near the rock climbing wall and booth 490.
“We are expecting a great turnout this year, from 12,000 to 16,000 people. The boat show is always pretty huge,” said Jess Bodelson, show coordinator. “There is a lot going on this year.”
The 1967 prototype Ford Mustang will be sold at the Russo and Steele Scottsdale Auto Auction in January 2009 to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America. The Super’Stang Tour has raised more than $155,000.
The Mid-American Boat Show is open to the public from noon to 9 p.m. on Feb. 21-22 and from 10 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Feb. 23. It will also be open on Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are available to adults for $7.50 and children 12 and under can attend for free. Anyway, hope to see you there.
