Switching AUTO to Manual seem unreasonable?

i've seen comlpete kits in MM&FF for under $2k. but i think the trannys are used. you could see if anybody wants to make a even swap.

i've been getting the itch to switch myself. but i won't do it anytime soon. goodluck!

oh, almost forgot. for the price, it wouldn't be worth it for the speed factor. you could use that $2k on your car for P&P heads/cams and a 99+ intake and be a crap load faster than if you were to swap the tranny. whether or not it's worth it for the fun factor is up to you.

Werd.

If you really want to shift the car get a full manual valve body. Itll be like a stick without the clutch :)

i see people selling their tremec 3650 along with clutches driveshafts and shifters and bellhousings for 800 bucks... if you do it yourself i predict you're going to be looking at 1000 bucks... personally i think that is a better price than switching your car at the dealership... but some people might think differently...

A lot of it depends on the tranny you are going to get. You can get a decent 5 Speed for 1100, maybe less. A TKO is going to put you around 1800 though. then the clutch, pedal assembly, shifter, and all the other goodies are extra. Im a big fan of the fun factor, Im swapping my 5.0 to a 5 speed soon :nice:
