Hey guys, i have been wanting to put a short shifter on my t-5 for a while and i was wondering wich ones (one) were the best to use and if u can link a site to where i can get a good deal on it that would be great! thanks again guys

I second the Pro 5.0 shifter. I put one in my '85 GT and loved it. Gonna put one in my '67 too. I think they cost around $200.

Just outta curiousity, isn't the reach on a short shifter going to be realllly long?

I have a Pro 5.0 and I use a Hurst 60s style handle and love it. It makes the throw just a touch longer but the feel is great.

i dont know, the reach is pretty long with the stock t-5 shifter anyways.....but im really not sure

Pro 5.0 with a MGW adjustable handle, then put a T handle knob.
Check it out here http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang.html The handle can be extended & rotated to point the handle to you while driveing.

Short shifter != short handle.

is that actually a short shifter or just a handle, it only costs 30 bucks from what i c but i dont know, i watched the video on how to change it and all but it just looks like a handle? someone want to explain that device to me

The Hurst shifter added to the T-5 set up really looks cool. Put on a "4 speed" knob and really have a neat set up.
