I currently have a C4 installed in my '66 GT. Can I install my new exhaust without any clearance problems when installing a T-5 (with cable clutch linkage) in a couple of months? I'm primarily concerned about the section between the collectors and the X-Pipe.

Long tubes aye, I took a set of those off my 73 because they kept dragging on the ground. As far as clearance goes they should be fine around the T5 but be careful how you run your clutch cable. I threw out the cable in favor of a hydralic setup that works much better. Good Luck!

You should be concerned more with how to get the cable through the header exhaust tubes of 6 and 7. Go with shorties if possible or email LanceMach, I think that is his name - he uses longtubes and the cable. I had the clutch cable but burned it up on my long tubes. Some long tubes work most don't.

Were they MAC by chance? I had this problem with Hooker Super Comps so I'm trying something new. I couldn't seem to find anybody who has installed the MAC long tubes so I guess I'm the guinea.
