Thinking about one of these for extra security. Does anyone have one? Was it easy to install? Thanks.

Here is the link

shifter lock

I have one.
Quality is first rate and I think it was worth the cash.
Pinball machine style lock, better than I expected but if a pro wants your car this won't stop them.

No assembly required just replace the old handle.

If a kid from your family would be in there playing around they could pop it into neutral and drift down the hill into the new benz beacuse there is no brake/shifter interlock.

or

If a thief were to pop the lock and hotwire the car you just may have enough time to get to him before he figures out how to get the car to move. Yeah to call the police on them ya know.

Not sure why he hasn't hooked up with the big parts houses yet, its a good product.

There is a buy it now with paypal. They get paid to keep it clean and settle disputes if there are any.

Resurrecting this old post to see if there is any more feedback on this product since 2009. Any issues after extended use? Seems like it would be a little added security when out and about.
