Idle should be at about .97-.99

According to Charles Probst, it really doesnt matter what your TPS is set at if the car was made "since 1988". Whatever that means. I take it as 88 and newer. he says the computer takes the idle figure and uses it as a baseline whenever the key is turned on. I am giving this info off the top of my head, but its accurate. Get the book and read it.
WOT should be just under 5 volts and koeo and koer should be the same.
ok well i unscrewed the 2 screws and tryed moving it around but it didnt go down. If anything it keeps going up to 1.523 and slowly moving down.

The section Jerry's referring to is on page 89 of Probst' book. It also shows the proper initial voltage with throttle closed, engine warm, key on, engine off as .601V +/- 3%. The whole bit of setting the tps close to 1V to help performance is a myth. And if you believe Mr. Probst who literally wrote the book, it doesn't matter where it is as long as it's down somewhere around 1V with a smooth ramp up to around 5V because "...the control module programming compensates for any differences in sensors, readjusting to a base voltage when the throttle is closed." Jerry - thanks for the reference - made me get the book out and look. I thought that feature was only on the 94/95 models. Makes me want to screw mine around, kill the battery to clear things, and then see if it makes any difference.
well i wallowed out the holes and turned in a little more, stayed around 1.254 then i just took the screws out and turned it all the frickin way and it didnt go down, just stayed the same. Im thinking it is F****ed
i had to really go at mine with 4 different drill bits to really get it enough.... mine will range from .52 all the way up to 1.3 not that i would ever leave it that high!!!!maybe yours is bad??? how old is it not that they usuall just crap out like that... another thing to consider is the throttle stop screw being to far in but dont go messing with that without a feeler gauge to set it back once you've messed with it... Do a search on how to set the idle, or just p.m. and i can tell you!!! Michael told me how to a while back....
