T-Top Conversion?

i've wondered the same question. hopefully someone can come up with a better idea than my... "install two sunroofs side by side" other than that why would you want to? they aren't very reliable in WA leak like crazy. and they don't add any support, in fact you'd lose body stiffness. might as well have a convertable.

I had the T roof installed in my Capri in 1981. It was a kit by Cars and Concepts.

They went out of business, but the kit was exactly the same parts as the first oem Ford T tops. It took the shop about 3 days.

You can do the same thing by just finding a junk t top car and pulling all the pieces.

You need the top frame panels, the tops, and the door glass, as the door frames for the windows have to be removed. Definitely add subframes.

If you can get the framing and tops, most of the trim and weatherstrip is available aftermarket. Try www. sunroofdoctor.com, for one. They bought the remaining C&C stock.
