i have 3 sets of t-top glass and i was looking at one of my really scratched up set the other day and came up with an idea.how difficult would it be to fiberglass over the glass and paint it body color ?i like the idea of having t-top glass and a set of hard top like the targa tops on the vettes.i think weight could be an issue but i would keep the fiberglass as thin as possible.

Skip the glass and use sheetmetal from a JY hood or something. Aim for the right curvature and finish the underside with matching headliner. I wouldn't try to cover the glass, but try to completely replace it. Could be pretty cool if you do it right.

yeah that was another way i was thinking about doing it they sell sheet metal at home depot .they have different sized guage metal and obviously would need to be glued to the glass and finished.i think this would be the easiest way to do it but i would be worried about the glass shattering from the hot metal on top of it.i figure if i rough up the glass with some coarse sandpaper it would give the duraglass something to adhere to .
