Completed the first pulls on tuning today with pump gas

606/541

Again I ran out of meter at 5500 and my A/F limited me to 6k, and fat on fuel from 4500-5500

It began too come on strong around 3200. This thing wanted to keep pulling and pulling.

at 6000 I was 11.7...nice and safe, but a bit rich in the mid.

So I have to look at getting another meter.

My tuner said the combo is capable of 700-750 with more boost and timing.

I was seeiing 17#

More to follow later in the week.

I have a weldon 600A i talked to them today there sayin the fuel pump is good for 800 and thats what im runny @ the fly wheel but all i know is, is that the fuel pump is all used up, its a -8n to the rails and a -6 return,
I think im gonna go with another one and run another -8n to the other rail and keep the -6n return and add a Meth cooler b/c the heat is too much for where im at pump gas wise, and then i should be able to crank it up a notch :D

can you post some pics of your car we basically have the same combo down to just about everything

I would be very very nervious about that block, unless its the DART sportsman

Nice numbers, without a doubt.

But, with me always being the condescending one, I have to say that those numbers are lacking big time.

The torque doesn't become "average" until 4000-4200 RPM, which IMO, is completely due to the camshaft. Where did you get the camshaft from? And, is the MAF an aftermarket piece?

Without knowing all the details, I definitely wouldn't blame the mass air meter....the whole issue to me by looking at the dyno chart seems to be camshaft related - the computer goes berzerk and gives you a ton of A/F at the beginning and end of the RPM range, but nothing in the middle.

An N/A 302 has more low-end at 3000 RPM than you do - something ain't right.....If my assumptions are correct, I'd find a camshaft with a 6500 RPM shiftpoint, that would still prove MUCH more low-end than what you have now (since you are severly lacking) and it would turn your top end numbers up by a decent amount as well.

Part of the soft low end is the ported box upper. The cam was actually supplied with the motor for a large Centrif...But on a fox...not a SN95

I have had some doubts on the cam also, its a VERY big cam. but......let me see what the tuning does for me.

We will be working on it more throughout the week.
