The big thing will be all the misc bolts. Flywheel bolts, clutch bolts, flywheel dowels, starter index plate, T-5 trans crossmember, t-5 trans mount. Bolts for that. Etc etc.

might as well add a quadrant and fire-wall adjuster to the list.

also optional, the pigtail for the reverse switch. it can work with bullet connectors (done it) but its much more reliable with the proper connector.

would also be a good time to install a good shifter (mgw, pro 5.0, etc)

exhaust hanger is different as well, but also optional imo

thankfully the crossmember, trans mount, and driveshaft are all the same between the aod and the t5, though youll have to cut the welds on the crossmember and slide it back on its mounting tubes.

Don't forget the trans tunnel where the shifter mounts. Autos and 5 speeds aren't the same. I've seen people do it by beating the tunnel with a bfh...but I'd do it the ford way....put the tunnel adapter on it.

Thanks guys awesome information. The t5 came with a Hurst shifter, I'll put the firewall adjuster and quadrant, hardware trans tunnel on the parts list. My next question is are the borg t5 and tremec t5 the same bellhoising?

borg-warner t5 and tremec t5 are the same thing, other than the stamping on the case they are the exact same transmission and theres no other way to tell them apart. tremec just took over b-w's production sometime in the mid-late 90's when b-w got out of the trans business. only thing you have to look out for is that the t5 you have is for a fox, the sn95 units (v6 and v8) have a longer input shaft, and therefore a longer bell, because the shifter hole in the body is further back.
